Eye Check Up Specialist

An eye check-up specialist is commonly referred to as an optometrist. Optometrists are healthcare professionals who provide primary vision care ranging from sight testing and correction to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of vision changes. Optometrists are trained to examine the eyes for both vision and health problems, prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses, offer low vision care and vision therapy, and participate in pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery.
